Global Money Week 2022 #GMW2022

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Global Money Week campaign. This special edition will be celebrated from 21st to 27th March 2022. Organised by the OECD International Network on Financial Education (OECD/INFE), the Global Money Week Campaign has grown over the years to become a truly global and international event. The campaign currently reaches out to over 50 million children in more than 170 countries.

Global Money week #GMW2022- Theme

“Build your future, be smart about money” is the official theme of Global Money Week 2022. The theme captures the importance of thinking about one’s own future when making financial decisions. This theme not only prompts young people to be forward-looking but also encourages GMW participating organisations to think about the future when planning their GMW 2022 activities, providing flexibility, for example, to address issues such as sustainability or the digitalisation of financial services.

In celebrating Global money week 2022, and as part of our financial literacy agenda, Ghana Talks Business will bring you useful guides on how to save money, the prudent use of money, and tips on how to transform your ideas into money-making businesses. Look out for these articles as the week progresses.
