The National Pensions Regulatory Authority, NPRA, has instituted certain contingency measures to limit the effect of this pandemic on the Pensions Industry. This is in adherence to the Government’s directive on restriction of movement of persons to stem the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic,

Therefore, the Authority is encouraging industry players and client to resort to use of electronic mode of payment of pension contributions.

This is meant to avoid face-to-face meetings between staff of the authority and the people who walked to pay their pension contributions,

Again, the NPRA, is asking its Trustees, Custodians and Fund Managers to continue with the electronic mode of report submission via its dedicated email address that is, tfc-reports@npra.gov.gh.

On Fees and Charges Payments, the NPRA, said “as already practised, Trustees should communicate via email to Custodiansand follow the necessary protocols to settle payments. Swift Advice and Proforma Invoice should be scanned and sent to the dedicated email”.
