Dumsor to hit parts of Accra, Volta and Western regions today – PDS warns

Power Distribution Services, PDS has announced that certain areas in Greater Accra, Volta region and the Western region will experience a blackout today March 28, 2019.

According to PDS the blackout that will be experienced in Greater Accra is as a result of their planned maintenance works whereas the blackout in Western region will be as a result of GRIDCO and AMANDI’s construction of a 330Kv overhead line from Sekondi Naval Base to Aboadze Thermal Plant.

Also the power outage that will hit parts of the Volta Region is for the PDS to undertake scheduled maintenance work to improve service delivery.

Below are the areas to be affected in the aforementioned regions
