The official website of the University of Cape Coast, “www.ucc.edu.gh”, has been hacked.

Many UCC students are alleging on social media that a former student of the University who was withdrawn for non-performance could be behind the hacking. There has been no official confirmation yet of who is responsible and for what reason.

All information on the University’s website has been taken away and replaced with a notice that reads; “hacked by Mr. bangladesh’ #contact: mr.16.12.1971@gmail.com”

Students are on recess and are expected to resume on the 17th of January, 2015.
