7 Reasons to Start Your Own Business

At 22, I started my own business with over $100,000 in debt.

I had no idea what to do, but I had complete passion and zeal like never before. I remember the first time I got paid. An older gentleman congratulated me while shaking my hand after he bought my first audio program for $20.

Realizing that I had worked without payment for over a year, tears swept down my face. On the way home, 3 hours away, I devoured a heavy bag of Burger King on the road and I knew that I was starving for more—but it wasn’t the bag of burgers that was going to fill me up.

I must admit, starting your own business isn’t an easy decision, but if you decide to do it, I promise you that you won’t work for another employer again. Here are 7 Reason to Start Your Own Business:

You Hate to “Fake It”: Did you ever find yourself acting on the job? It’s like trying to avoid someone at the grocery store—it’s a thrill the first time, but it gets old after a while. You can finally be yourself all of the time when you have your own business.
There is a New Challenge Every day: No entrepreneur has an average day. There is always a new challenge. If you want to skip the trivialities and the boredom up doing a job you don’t like, start your business.
You Get to Sleep More: Are you staring at the alarm clock at the same time every day? Do you like the routine that you are living? Some days you can wake up at 5 am and other days you can sleep until 12 pm.
You Don’t Have to WAIT to Get Paid: Remember the days that you get the same deposit at the same time every week? What about the “too much month at the end of the money” feeling? You might not be a millionaire in the first year, but you’ll be about to kick back on some cash flow by the 12-18 month mark.
Traveling and Vacations: Are you sick of waiting for your 2-4 weeks of vacation? Would you like to travel whenever you want? Skip the drama of employment and pack your bags. Feel free to take off anywhere at any time.
Complete Independence: You get to go where you want to go and deal with who you want to deal with. No more micromanaging from your boss. You’re on your own. Even though it’s sink or swim being an entrepreneur gives you the most freedom (besides heaven). You Are the Boss!
You Do What You Love: With complete fulfillment in your work and your schedule, you can finally express yourself in the way that you want. Even the most drudging parts of your work will be easy, because you’ll have complete control of your life.

Try and be your own boss. You might be good at it.
