- Lockdown offenders could face imprisonment or be fined GHS12,000 to GHS60,000. This has emerged following the public’s disapproval of how security agencies mete out instant justice to the offender. ACP Lydia Donkor, Director, Legal and Prosecution of the Ghana Police Service, has advised the public to adhere to the president’s directive to avoid the legal sanctions.

- The Keta Municipal Assembly has quarantined six persons including a cook of a Korean Fishing Vessel and five local fishermen over a COVID-19 scare. Following a misunderstanding between the cook and the crew, they threw him overboard in the sea. The cook was rescued by the five local fishermen who have also been quarantined.

- Residents of Baastonaa in Accra have rejected the gesture by Rev. Titi Ofei to offer his 100-bed facility to be used as an isolation center. Hon Carlos Ahenkora, the MP of the local area has however explained that the facility would be used to house health personnel and not suspected cases
