How to prepare vegetable salad the Ghanaian way

Vegetable salads make great combinations with all rice dishes. They can also be eaten separately as a main dish as they are very wholesome and extremely delicious.

In this post, I will teach you how to prepare Vegetable Salad

You will need
– A large mixing bowl
– Kitchen Knife
-Chopping board
-Egg slicer

Ingredients for Vegetable Salad

– Cabbage
-1 medium-sized lettuce
-3 eggs
-Carrots
-Cucumbers
-Onions
-4 small Irish potatoes
-Plum tomato
-Tomato sauce
-Baked beans
-Salad cream

How to prepare Vegetable salad

– Wash all vegetables with warm water
-Chop cabbage,cucumber, onions and grate carrots
-Shred the lettuce into thin stripes
-Peel potatoes, boil and dice them
-Boil eggs and slice with egg slicer 
-Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and cut into small pieces.
-Empty baked beans into a big salad bowl. Form your salad layer by starting with cabbage and lettuce at the bottom, some carrot slices fbeans, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices and finally, sweet corn.
-Add your egg slices on the top of it to make it more appealing.

NB:Don’t add the Salad cream just yet until you’re ready to serve it or it would go bad faster.
