A 50-year-old man guarding an ATM farm at the Sunyani Technical University campus has been killed in a suspected bank robbery operation.

No one has been arrested yet but the police crime scene experts have been able to lift “finger impressions” from the scene. Head of security at the Sunyani Technical University, Badiwe Mohammed reported the incident to the Police at about 5:30 a.m. Friday.

He was said to have told the police that Sumaila who is an employee of Thomas Security Limited was found dead at about 4:30 a.m. at his duty post at the ATM farm on the University Campus wearing his uniform.

The Police rushed to the scene of the suspected rbank obbery where evidence and pictures were taken for investigations. The body of deceased “was photographed, removed and deposited at the Regional Hospital mortuary” after it was certified dead by Dr Akoto Bamfo.
