Formalizing the local economy is high on the agenda of the Chairman of the economic management team of the Nana Addo led government, Dr. Bawumia. He asserts that, formalizing the local economy is based on three essential pillars which includes; Financial Inclusion, National Identification and the Property Addressing System which serve as the necessary backbone for a formal economy. He adds the government is committed to doing that this year.
