Amplify your purpose by saying ‘I will’, rather than ‘I wish’

The summer holiday was ending and we had time for one last family weekend away before everyone went back to school or work, so we headed off to one of our favourite British seaside towns. We had spent the morning on the beach and decided to have a mooch around the town before lunch. I came across one of those vintage shabby chic shops and there in the window hung a sign which said, ‘Some people want it to happen, some people wish it would happen, others make it happen’. I laughed out loud – I have always been somebody who wants to make it happen! Life is full of people who either say ‘I wish’ or ‘I will’, and how we respond to that statement determines how you amplify your purpose.

People who say ‘I wish’, talk about doing something year after year after year, but they never do it. They wish they could be somebody different, do something different or own something different – but they don’t. There are lots of reasons why. Sometimes its a lack of motivation, or a lack of personal discipline, or a lack of knowledge, but mostly, its simply a lack of a game plan. They wish it would happen, but wishing is not enough; you need a plan.

Then there are the people who say ‘I will’. They have a game plan; they set a goal, they develop a plan and they take steps towards it every day. They try new things, they take new risks and they go to new places. They sometimes make mistakes, but they always learn and come back stronger. Most importantly, they achieve and make it happen.

Please can I invite you to have an honest moment with yourself? Which do you say more; ‘I wish’, or ‘I will’?

If you would like to become more of an ‘I will’ person, then I would like to invite you to my Amplification Masterclass on how you can turn up the volume for your life purpose. I will walk you through my 10 step approach to developing your game plan for life. The 10 step method is something you will be able to take away and use again, again, and again, to achieve your aspirations.

So, are you someone who wishes it would happen, or are you someone who will make it happen?
