Effective October 23, 2019, stakeholders of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) are to make all payments of power purchase and other related activities at ECG designated places as they take over PDS.
According to the Electricity Company of Ghana, customers should make all payments at the; ECG Regional and District Offices, ECG existing Customer Service Centers, ECG licensed vending stations, ECG operated Cash Points.
Also, all cheques issued in respect of power purchases and other related activities should be in the sole name of Electricity Company of Ghana Limited, a statement from the company added.

As a measure to fully assume the management of the country’s power situation in Ghana, all assets currently in the name of PDS revert to ECG with immediate effect. The assets are to be re-branded in accordance with the decision over the next few weeks.
