Leading domestic airline, Africa World Airlines (AWA), has received induction into the prestigious Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Hall of Fame.
The induction in CIMG Hall Fame follows the Africa World Airline winning the “Best Domestic Airline in Ghana” at the 30th CIMG Awards which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra on September 27, 2019.
Receiving the awards, Head of Commercial for AWA, Richard Kyereh expressed the airline’s gratitude to their numerous customers, staff and partners for this realisation.
Africa World Airline which commenced operations in September 2012 is acknowledged as the best domestic airline since 2015, thereby deepening its leadership in the local aviation industry.
Meanwhile, as part of strategies to further provide the flying public with great, reliable services, affordable and comfortable seamless connections throughout the African sub-region and international routes, AWA in August 2019 announced a partnership with ASKY Airlines and Ethiopian Airlines.
The commercial agreement which is a novelty, will give airline patrons the chance to connect to any part of the world, through these three aviation giants.
Africa World currently operates daily and weekly flights respectively to the following destinations; Accra-Kumasi, Accra-Tamale, Accra-Takoradi, Accra-Lagos, Accra-Abuja, Accra-Monrovia, Accra-Freetown and will also begin Accra-Wa route on October 15, 2019.
In a related development, With the aim of giving opportunity to people who live in Lagos and work in Accra and vice versa, Africa World Airline (AWA) is set to start a midnight flight from Accra to Lagos before December this year.

According to Africa World Airline, the flight will take off at 12 midnight in Accra to Lagos and 6am the next morning from Lagos to Accra.
